Naver Tea Set
The NAVER(then known as NHN) Tea Set is a project that reinterprets Korea’s traditional tea culture in a modern context — designed to let people naturally enjoy a warm cup of tea amidst their busy daily lives.
As NAVER’s branded product and a VIP gift, the set embodies the company’s core value of “Connect,” expressing a culture of healthy rest and meaningful connection. In collaboration with a ceramic designer, the teapot and teacups were created and packaged with a selection of herbal tea bags. The focus was on crafting practical, refined teaware with simple forms and subdued colors, making it easy to enjoy in everyday life. The packaging utilizes lattice-patterned paper, wrapping cloths (bojagi), and string to convey a sophisticated yet traditional aesthetic, presented in a deep, elegant tone.
