NAVER & NAVER LABS @CES 2019
At CES 2019, NAVER and NAVER LABS unveiled 13 futuristic innovations in robotics, autonomous driving, and mobility, all under the core philosophy of 'Ambient Intelligence'—a vision where AI seamlessly integrates into daily life. The primary objective of this project was to design an optimized experiential space where complex, high-end technologies could be understood intuitively and experienced immersively by global audiences. The spatial design was driven by the central keyword 'Just Arrived.' To convey the narrative that NAVER’s cutting-edge technologies have just arrived from the future, the entire booth was designed around the storyline of unboxing a massive 'Wooden Case.' By contrasting the raw, industrial texture of the wooden crates with a sleek, minimalist white interior, we visually amplified the themes of innovation and freshness.
The exhibition was strategically divided into two distinct zones based on the nature of the technology. An open-structured Exterior Zone was utilized to dynamically showcase autonomous driving technologies and mobility solutions, effectively capturing the attention of passersby. Meanwhile, the Interior Zone was designed to provide a focused environment for deep interaction and live demonstrations. Despite being NAVER’s first appearance at a global technology exhibition, this showcase successfully articulated the brand’s future vision through sophisticated display strategies and seamlessly orchestrated robotic demonstrations, ultimately reinforcing the global technological competitiveness of NAVER and NAVER LABS.
