NAVER Data Center GAK Signage

NAVER Data Center GAK Chuncheon is a 'vault of data' that coexists harmoniously with nature — NAVER’s first eco-friendly data center designed to minimize environmental impact while maximizing operational efficiency.

Taking inspiration from Janggyeonggak, the historical archive that housed the Tripitaka Koreana, the project conveys NAVER’s commitment to preserving knowledge with a thoughtful and deeply grounded tone. Rooted in the functional and symbolic qualities of Janggyeonggak, we developed a signage system that embodies the identity of 'GAK'.

At the center of the visual system is the GAK symbol, representing the accumulation of information and data. This concept is distilled into a structured graphic language using square forms and meticulously arranged dots and lines—expressing the idea of data being organized, stored, and layered over time.
